CLASS 1: CLASSIFICATIONS OF ESSENTIAL OILS
Introduction to Classifications of Essential Oils based on a Chinese Medicine Perspective. In this class, students will have the ability to distinguish between Top Notes (Wei Level- Superficial), Middle Notes (Ying Level – Blood and Emotions), Base Notes (Yuan Source – DNA/Soul)

CLASS 2: Relationship between Lung Qi/Wei Qi and Essential OIls
In this 3-hr PDA class, we will focus on the benefits of Top Notes, those oils that are associated with the most superficial level of our consciousness and the upper and outer aspect of our body. These oils work very quickly, most often to uplift the individual or create an uplifting mood in the environment. Additionally, because of the inviting scent they are usually the first oil to be noticed within a blend. Class 3: Relationship Between Ying Qi and Essential Oils
Essential oils can greatly affect the state of Ying Qi (Digestion, Blood, Qi, and Emotions). During this 3-hr PDA class, we will discuss 9 common essential oils that are associated with Post- Natal Qi and Blood. The essential oils that will be discussed are,, Rosemary, Pine, Ravensara, Lemongrass, Fennel, Neroli, Roman Chamomile, German Chamomile, and Melissa.
